CEO’s Mother by Peggy Puger

This is her first book

CEO'S MOTHER by Peggy Puger (Gramedia Pustaka Utama, 2016).

Are you curious about the brief biography of Anton Soeharyo (Founder & CEO Touchten Games) from his mother point of view?

Peggy Puger (I call her by "Mama Peggy") is typically a "Tiger Mom" who pretty strict to raise her three children one of them is Anton Soeharyo, a legendary Indonesia startup Founder & CEO.

I knew Anton in 2013, when I hosted Startup Lokal meetup at Jakarta Convention Center. Recently I just realized that his personality completely reflected his mother, Mama Peggy.

Anton (he was born at Oct 30th 1985) is a humble, family-man, has good sense of business, and multi-lingual (he master four languages namely Bahasa Indonesia, English, Japanese, & Mandarin Chinese) Founder & CEO.

From the book, eventually I knew that his mother educated him very well since he was kid!

Need to know that Anton graduated from Waseda University and Beijing University.

The book is also burst of wise quotation from Mama Peggy. So, it is kinda written by our own beloved mother and dedicated to us as her children.

One of my cup if tea is: "Berkaryalah demi tidak pikun!"

So guys, just grab the book to comprehend the parenting method of Mama Peggy! :)

A Hipster guide book

JONY IVE: The Genius Behind Apple's Greatest Products by Leander Kahney (Portfolio/Penguin, 2013).

Don't you realize that Apple's design was not just about shape, but also there was an emotional side to it?

The book reveals the genius man behind Apple's greatest product: Jonathan Paul Ive a.k.a Jony Ive!

In September 1992, at age twenty-five, he accepted a full-time position at Apple.

After reading this book, I just realised that he is the most talented-humble-tech-designer! His designs were incredibly simple and elegant. He is also good at communicating his design ideas!

Anyway, he was born at 27 February 1967. So, tomorrow is his birthday!

Have a fabulous birthday, Jony Ive! :)
